Books, Boxes & Unusual play
One of the things Collin has been doing lately that I just love is "reading" books. But as we all know, Collin does not sit when he plays. So he walks around the room jabbering rhythmically and pointing to the pages. In the second picture he is reading a book that talks about body parts--the page for head. :)
We've also had quite a bit of fun with diaper boxes lately. One day we just played peek-a-boo and stuck fingers in/out of the handle holes.
But then today it snowed quite a bit--the nice fluffy kind--so we went out for a bit (all of 10 min maybe--brrrrr) and decidedly a diaper box makes a great sled! Collin was also a bit more comfortable with the snow this time. He still finds it funny and...it isn't terrible to stand in anymore. He giggles at it a lot--if you throw it or blow it or anything. We had fun!
Of course we are always on the lookout for new "toys" (no, I'm not saying he actually needs more toys --he has way too many already-- it's just fun coming up with new things to explore) or at least new ways to play with current toys.
The other day he just climbed right in...
And a hamper was "loads" of fun...
